Evidence research

Start with a research question. Keep every conclusion traceable.

Bring a research question, search records or literature you may lawfully use. Missing materials can be clarified in the task.

From research materials to traceable evidence

For researchers with a medical research topic, search records or literature who need to connect conclusions to the source text.

Research question and eligibility

Provide the topic and known population, intervention or exposure, comparator, outcomes and study design. Request a PICO/PECO table, draft eligibility criteria and unresolved decisions. Leave uncertain conditions open.

Search strategy and records

Bring the question, target sources, year range and existing search records. Request concept blocks, subject headings, free-text terms and complete queries. Keep proposed strategies separate from executed sources, dates, scope and counts.

Traceable evidence matrix

Provide checked bibliographic records, retrieved abstracts or full text you may lawfully use. Organize design, population, intervention or exposure, outcomes, findings, limitations and source locations. Preserve unreported fields; do not infer study results from metadata.

Claims checked against sources

Supply the claims and corresponding papers. Request a comparison of each claim, source location, degree of support, limitations and suggested wording. Preserve conflicting directions and uncertainty; do not turn association into causation.

Check source locations, abstract or full-text access and unreported fields for every claim, retaining conflicting findings. An evidence matrix does not establish that a systematic review or meta-analysis is complete.

Research examples

For research assistance, not clinical care. Search scope, sources, screening decisions and conclusions require human verification.
